The Australian Public Affairs Channel takes students to the heart of our national political system. Here students access our leaders and decision makers as they shape our nation and create policies impacting on our daily lives. Upholding Australian Curriculum Standards and requirements, A-PAC informs students about the machinations and structure of our working Government.
From House of Representatives Parliamentary Question Time to speeches on matters of public importance and topical debates, A-Pac presents back-to-back programmes of educational and civic relevance. For teachers, A-PAC is an invaluable classroom resource for students studying Government, Civics and Citizenship, Politics, Community and Social Studies from Upper Primary to Senior Secondary.
To complete the learning experience, from 1st March 2009 A-PAC also provides teachers with a comprehensive education website including downloadable classroom civic activity tasks and resources for individual student use for homework and assignments.
A-PAC programmes are copyright free for teachers to record for teaching purposes.
